Theo carried out a laparoscopic hysterectomy leaving my ovaries just over 4 weeks ago. My recovery has been very smooth, my scars are tiny and I am already out running again (very gently). All the way through my care he has been patient with all my questions and never rushed me. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His secretary, Ruby, is also a total legend.

I’ve been a patient of Mr Manias since July 2017, after many years of gynae problems and gynae consultants ignoring quite obvious symptoms and a haemorrhage in 2015 (20 years old). He is quite possibly the greatest Consultant I’ve ever met and I’m so lucky to be under his care. I’m scheduled for surgery in a week for the 4th time to combat my endometriosis and cannot wait to feel better again, had it not of been for Theo I wouldn’t of been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis either. He’s a man of his word and we need more people like him in this field

I had a hysterectomy with Mr Manias two weeks ago. I could not recommend him highly enough. Despite having been told by other surgeons that I was not a suitable candidate for keyhole surgery, this was carried out so well that I could go home after an overnight stay. My scars are tiny, I have none of the side effects that I had been lead to fear, and my recovery is proceding far faster than I could have hoped. Mr Manias is a kind, caring , talented man. Other surgeons frequently by reputation have overbearing egos, He gives the impression that he is lucky to be operating upon you. After an operation that I had been dreading for years I feel great and would hope that any one I cared for was lucky enough to be seen by him.

Mr Manias performed my Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and I couldn’t recommend him more. He ensures you are comfortable with every aspect of the procedure and has a manner about him that is extremely efficient and very caring. He saw me several times before the op and checked on me after surgery a couple of times. In my opinion he’s exactly what you want in a surgeon and the op so far seems to have been a success!
